"Sassy", "entertaining", "charming", not to mention "stunning", can all be said of one of country music's most passionate rising personalities, Charla Corn. As a small town girl from west Texas, Charla's love of country music came naturally but she is also an avid student of blues and rock and roll. She attended South Plains College, a springboard for many of today's biggest hit-makers, where she studied music performance and got her first taste of the studio and songwriting. After college, she toured throughout the region opening for acts such as Jason Aldean, Jack Ingram, Asleep at the Wheel, Joe Nichols & Emerson Drive building a fan base while honing her craft both on and off stage.
She now resides in Nashville. Her talent and charisma has caught the attention of many charity event organizers and has had the privilege of hosting the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation and Feed the Children Auction and Jam Session. She also Co-Hosted the 2007 Country Weekly Fashion Show along side Clay Walker. As chairman of Cinderella’s Closet Charity, Charla helps provide new or slightly used prom dresses to underprivileged teens in Middle Tennessee. She performs with her band and prolifically writes with some of Nashville's most successful songwriters. Songwriting has become a passion and an indispensable outlet for her fiery personality.
On stage or one-on-one, Charla is at once captivating, fun and exciting. The combination of her voice, no nonsense attitude & carefree charm gives her the ability to connect with millions as they grow up and out into an unfamiliar world. Whether on TV, stage or the radio Charla is and will remain an enduring part of country music.
